South Africa’s Most Innovative CEOs Are About to Eat Dinner Together

Sizwe Nxasana, Sifiso Learning Group’s Founder and Executive Chairman, will be having dinner with peers from equally ambitious organisations in just over two weeks from today…

In attendance will be: William Blackie, CEO of Investment Banking at Standard Bank, Richard Perez, Founding Director of the d-school at UCT’s Graduate School of Business and Dr Mlungisi Cele, CEO of the National Advisory Council on Innovation – to name but a few.

They will be attending the inaugural CEO Dinner of the Creative Leadership Collective Africa. This is an exclusive and unique event, designed for the leaders of non-competing firms who want to inspire and empower their organization’s to excel at innovation.

The dinner presents the opportunity for each CEO to meet with the like-minded leaders, and endorse their organization’s commitment to CLCA by signing the Founding Friends Charter. This guiding document will help align and inspire our members going forward.

With the threat of ‘Day Zero’ looming in Cape Town, Dhesigen Naidoo, CEO of the South African Water Research Commission will be saying a few words.

We’ll also be joined by our active researcher, Professor Mugendi K. M’Rithaa, President Emeritus of the World Design Organisation, Curator for Design Indaba Expo and lecturer within the Department of Industrial Design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Each of the CEOs will be accompanied by the Executive or Senior Manager they have made accountable for building innovation capability within, across and between their organisations.

These (often unsung) heroes are the active members of CLCA. They connect throughout the year to document and share their local knowledge of how to drive well-managed innovation practices.
